England Cricket’s loss is IPL’s gain. Kevin Pietersen who was axed by the ECB last week will be available to play the entire IPL season despite Sri Lanka’s tour to England. KP is a kind of batsman who is best suited for the T20 format. He reads the situation well, makes sure the run rate doesn’t drop and can accelerate whenever he is needed to do so.
