The defending champions will face Rajasthan Royals in the last league game at their home ground Wankhede, Mumbai. Both the teams need win to qualify for playoffs and Mumbai need to put an extra effort as they need to win by good margin to get over Rajasthan’s Net Run Rate.

As per net run rate difference between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royal is 83.98 and they will face each other. Which means if Mumbai bats first they need to win by 41.99 i.e. 42 run victory.

If Mumbai Indians will be chasing then they have to chase the target set by Rajasthan Royals with a couple of balls remaining.

Here is some targets to be chased by respective over to make into play offs.

Expected Target  Overs by which the target is to chased down
  96 14.0 overs
  99 14.1 overs
104 14.2 overs
109 14.3 overs
113 14.4 overs
118 14.5 overs
123 15.0 overs
129 15.1 overs
135 15.2 overs
143 15.3 overs
149 15.4 overs
 156 15.5 overs
164 16.0 overs
173 16.1 overs
183 16.2 overs
194 16.3 overs
205 16.4 overs

In case of ending a couple of runs short to required overs, Mumbai Indians still can make it by taking a couple of extra balls than needed if they can make sure that they hit a boundary of Six when 1 or 2 runs are needed to win.
