The defending IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders, have started this season’s IPL really well and are on course to be a part of the playoffs this season too. However, this season they where without their main bowler Sunil Narine for few matches but have shown no signs of weakness in the bowling department.
Sunil Narine who was a strike bowler for the Kolkata knight riders was discharged from bowling due to a suspected bowling action during the match between Kolkata knight riders and the team from Hyderabad. After a series of tests in Chennai, the bowler was discharged of the allegation and is now allowed to bowl.
The skipper of the team Gautam Gambhir, said that he was happy with the way the bowler has come back after being suspended and applauded the way that he handled the pressure. Gambhir also added that Sunil was not just a mystery bowler and that he was extremely talented and that mysteries are solved and people who are talented always perform even under pressure.
Gambhir also added that the way he came back to pick 4 wickets in the previous match said a lot about his mental strength and that he was very happy to get his strike-bowler back into the team again.
The skipper also felt that it was important to finish in the top-2 to get a fair shot to play in the final and said that it was important for his team to continue to play good cricket in the business end of the tournament when it matters the most.
