IPL 2016: Delhi Daredevils vs Sunrisers Hyderabad – Match in numbers
Final 3 days of the league matches and not even a single team is assured of their spot in the league table. While Sunrisers Hyderabad needs just one win in their two matches to qualify for a spot in Top 2, Delhi Daredevils need to win both their matches to have a hope of qualification. While David Warner and Co have done really well this season, Zaheer Khan led young Daredevils also deserve a chance to make it to the playoffs after having poor seasons in the past 2-3 years.
Zaheer Khan won the toss and invited the Sunrisers to bat first. Warner started off aggressively and top-scored for the team with 76 runs in 56 deliveries. Players like Henriques, Morgan and Ojha got off to a start but none of them could go beyond 20 runs. As a result, wickets fell at regular intervals and the team scored 158 for 7 in 20 overs.
Coming in to chase in a must win game, Daredevils faced an early blow as de Kock departed for just 2 runs. Karun Nair played well and anchored the Daredevils innings from one end.
