IPL 2016: Kolkata Knight Riders vs Mumbai Indians predicted XI
Apr 11, 2016 at 1:10 PM
Once again the Kolkata knight riders will get on their home ground for their second match of the tournament but this time against the defending champions Mumbai Indians. KKR surely looks heavy among the two teams as they registered a thumping win over Delhi Daredevils in their previous game whereas the Mumbai Indians suffered a humiliating loss against the newly formed Rising Pune Supergiants.
The Kolkata knight riders will look to continue their winning form as it will be a big confidence booster for them to win two consecutive games. They have the players who can once again repeat their heroics which will help the team to seal another victory here. The KKR bowling line up overpowered the batting of DD and was able to restrict DD on a low total, as a result, KKR got off to a winning start, that too with a big margin.
Their spinners played an important role in dismantling the batting line up of DD and were able to restrict DD before the 100 run mark. KKR batsmen took their time to settle down and managed to win the game. Captain will be looking for the same heroics in this game too as another win on the home ground help in building the confidence of the team.
The Mumbai Indians side has an impression of bouncing back strongly as we saw last year that they lost their first five games but still went on to win the trophy. Though they have only lost one game till now but still they have to be varying of this habit as losing early games can sometimes prove to be costly if they fail to get back in the form.
So the players have to contribute as a team so as to avoid a defeat here. They have the star players who have a tag of being a T20 specialist and they have to prove this in the match against KKR. The captain and the owner will be hoping for a good performance from the players so as to open their account as early as possible.
