IPL 2016: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Mumbai Indians – Match in Numbers

In the hunt for their first win in IPL 2016 Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and put the Mumbai Indians in to bat. Both team have struggled with their batting, while MI had won only one in three matches so far, SRH had zero in their kitty of the 2 played.

Rohit Sharma had just one just in this match as he brought in Matin Guptill in place of Keiron Pollard who has struggled so far and was unavailable due to food-poisoning.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar got the start that Sunrisers would have wished for as he dismissed Guptill in the very first over. It was Ambati Rayudu and Krunal Pandya who batted through and ensured a decent score of 142 for 6 in their 20 overs.

In the 2nd innings, SRH were expecting a good start from the openers but Shikhar Dhawan failed 3rd time on the trot. But Warner continued his good form and scored yet another 50. He went on to score 90* to comfortably guide his team to first victory in IPL 2016.
