Australian fast-bowling legend Brett Lee, known for his commitment and consistency, was a part of the side for three seasons before moving to Kolkata Knight Riders in 2011. He had a mediocre time with the team, unfortunately, and couldn’t make a huge impact and was able to take only nine wickets in a span of three seasons. The lowest point came when he could pick a single wicket in four games in the 2010 season. The team owners had pinned huge hopes on him and had bought him for 6 crores in the inaugural season.
