Praveen Kumar, the gentle swing bowler from Uttar Pradesh, has managed to earn his own reputation despite fading form and lack of speed.
However, these shortcomings never hindered with his performance as he used his experience to stay as effective as possible. Praveen Kumar, who currently plays for Gujarat Lions, was the first bowler ever to claim a hat-trick in the IPL.
He achieved the feat against Rajasthan Royals playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2010 edition.
