AB De Villiers, Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman, has joined the RCB camp ahead of the start of the IPL.
Here is what the Proteas ODI captain tweeted –
Great to be back in Bangalore. Looking forward to the start of the 2017 IPL, come on @RCBTweets! #PlayBold

Earlier, there were doubts over his participation in the tournament after he backed out from the final of the Momentum One-day cup due to an injury but he landed in India to participate in the league.
However, it is still unknown whether he will be available for the first game of the tournament or not.
RCB coach Daniel Vettori has indicated that it will be De Villiers who will lead the team in the absence of Virat Kohli, who has primarily been ruled out of the league for the first two weeks. Kohli though joined the RCB camp yesterday. If in case, De Villiers will not be fit for the game, then it might be Shane Watson who will lead the team.
However, the team will be missing out on the services of KL Rahul, who has been ruled out of the league.
Royal Challengers will open its IPL campaign against the defending Champions Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 5 in the opening game of IPL in Hyderabad.
