Lanky pacer Aniket Choudhary made a dream debut in the Indian Premier League as he dismissed Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner in his very first over to give Royal Challengers Bangalore a brilliant start in the first game of the tenth edition of the tournament.
Warner began the proceedings in fine fashion, hitting Tymal Mills for a four on the third ball of the innings. In the next over, bowled by debutant Choudhary, the Australia opener smashed a four by chipping over the 30-yard circle. The bowler than made the huge mistake of overstepping the crease and the explosive opener made the most of it by hitting a huge six on the free-hit. However, the Australia opener had to pay a hefty price for playing a loose shot on the very next delivery. Choudhary bowled one well outside the off-stump and the ball deserved to be hit but Warner paid the price for not going through the shot completely. The southpaw was just looking to guide his shot over the infield but failed to add any power behind it and Madeep Singh timed his jump to perfection at backwards point to take a good two-handed catch.
Here is a clip of that dismissal:
