IPL 2017: “We Did Our Best But Dhoni Was The Difference,” Says David Warner
Rising Pune Supergiant needed 30 runs in the last two overs of the game and Sunrisers Hyderabad had their best bowler at the helm i.e. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the purple cap holder. David Warner quite confident that Bhuvi will do the job for the team but his hopes received a blow when MS Dhoni smacked 17 runs off five balls he faced from the death over specialist.
Dhoni outsmarted Bhuvneshwar and frankly speaking, Siddharth Kaul did not have enough runs to save in the last over. 11 runs is a low target if we have some like like MS Dhoni present at one end. Still, Siddarth Kaul dragged the game to the last ball of the game and if Rashid Khan would have caught Manoj Tiwary, the result could have been different.
It was the two extra runs spill by Rashid that hurt the team the most.
Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner was impressed by performance of his team as after the game, he tweeted
We tried our best but @msdhoni the finisher played outstanding. Well done.

Surely, the visiting team put up a great effort but MS Dhoni and Manoj Tiwary were the difference at the end of the day.
