Initially unsold at the auction table and then later emerging as the best spinner in the tournament, the veteran Imran Tahir made it clear that he was a force to reckon with in this format. Tahir was pretty accurate for the Rising Pune Supergiant and the go-to man for his skipper Steven Smith during the crucial moments. 18 wickets in 12 games for a spinner at an economy rate of below 8 is quite commendable indeed.
