The pocket-size dynamite from Australia holds the pole position in the list of most number of fifties by a batsman in IPL with a whopping count of 34 in a total of 105 matches he has played so far. Captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Warner helped his side lift the trophy for the first time last year. Not to forget his all important half century in the finals which helped SRH post a total above 200 in first innings.
Much like that innings, Warner has been instrumental with the bat throughout the tournament and had even found success in the preceding editions. During the last season, he was the second highest run-scorer with the total of 848 runs in 17 innings. Also, with nine half-centuries, he was the player with most number of fifty-plus scores in the particular edition of the lucarative league.
