Glenn Maxwell (Kings XI Punjab) – 6.5 out 10 points
The promise which new skipper Glenn Maxwell showcased in the first two matches is slowing fading away. He played the central role in the grand start Punjab had to the tournament. But after two wins in two matches, they have now have added three losses on the trot, which is concerning.
Maxwell’s only bother has been finding his stable bowling attack. The batsmen have begun to respond well but the bowling combinations need to be sorted out. Unfortunately, Maxwell hasn’t been able to do that and that remains his biggest weakness.
