- 27 % – the win/loss percentage of KKR until the 2016 season. They’ve won 68 and lost 62 out of the 132 matches they’ve played so far
- KKR’s highest ever total in the IPL is 222/3. They achieved this gigantic total against RCB in 2008 in the very first match of the season. The closest they’ve come to breaking their own record was in the same season, when they registered yet another 200 plus total – 204/4 – against Deccan Chargers.
- Ironically, KKR registered their lowest team total in the same season they racked up their highest team total. In 2008, they were undone for just 67 runs in 15.2 overs by Mumbai Indians.
- KKR’s largest victories in terms of runs came against RCB in the same match they hit their highest ever team total. The opening match, which witnessed a blazing knock of 158 from Brendon McCullum, saw KKR dismiss RCB for just 72 runs and snatch a 144-run win. It stood for eight seasons before being broken by RCB, who beat Gujarat Lions by 144 runs last season at the very same venue.
- KKR conceded 28 extras in their fixture against Deccan Chargers at their home ground, Eden Gardens in 2008. This is the most by any team in the IPL history.
- 158* is the highest individual score ever recorded by a KKR batsman. The feat was achieved by former New Zealand skipper Brendon McCullum in the opening match of the inaugural season. No other KKR batsman has ever scored a century since then.
- Two-time title winning skipper Gautam Gambhir is the highest overall run-getter for the franchise with 2537 runs in 92 matches at an average of 30.20.
- Robin Uthappa with 660 runs in 16 matches during the 2014 season holds the record for the most runs scored in a season.
- Yusuf Pathan holds the record for the most number of sixes hit for KKR. Until now, the Baroda mauler has hit 79 maximums for them.
- Brendon McCullum again makes it to the list with the help of the 13 sixes he hit during his record-breaking knock of 158. This remains the most number of sixes in an innings by any KKR batsman.
- 5/19 taken by Sunil Narine, the mystery spinner versus Kings XI Punjab in the 2012 season remains the best bowling performance for the franchise. Stunningly, he features five times in the top 10 list including two more times in the top five.
- Sunil Narine is also the highest wicket-taker for the franchise, snaring 85 wickets in just 66 matches.
- With 24 wickets in 15 matches during the title-winning 2012 season, Narine also dominates the list of highest wicket-taker in a season. The second and third position also belongs to him, courtesy his performances in 2013 and 2014 season, where he snapped 22 and 21 wickets respectively.
- Gautam Gambhir has featured for KKR in 92 matches, the most by any of the franchise’s player. Yusuf Pathan, who played 91 matches, occupies the second spot. Gambhir has led the side also for the same number of the matches, which also puts him first in the list of the KKR player with most matches played as captain. Apart from him, only two players Sourav Ganguly (27 matches) and Brendon McCullum (13 matches) have led the side.
