Gautam Gambhir – The highest overall run getter for the franchise, the most successful captain with two trophies in his cabinet and the main man behind the emergence of KKR as one of the strongest teams in the Indian Premier League. He, unarguably, would always be the first name to drafted in the all-time XI of KKR on any given day and time. These achievements help him edge out KKR’s original face and first skipper, Sourav Ganguly. Gambhir was bought by the franchise in 2011 auction for a whopping 2.5 million and took over the mantle of the side with tremendous success.
