Jacques Kallis, easily the greatest all-rounder ever since Sir Gary Sobers, brought the same set of advantages that South Africa enjoyed for close to a decade. KKR always had a huge advantage over other for having a world class top order batsman and a seam bowler. He joined the franchise in 2011 and played till 2014 before retiring from the league with 1295 runs and 42 wickets in 56 matches. His contribution is such that he stills sits at No. 4 among the all highest run getters and 3rd in the all-time wicket takers list.
