Chris Gayle’s IPL fortunes turned upside down once he switched his loyalty to Royal Challengers Bangalore. The Jamaican mauler, who was not up to his best in the previous seasons with KKR, played a huge role in leading RCB to the finals. Run came thick and fast and there was no stopping. The left-hander ended up with 608 runs in just 12 matches including 2 centuries and 3 fifties. His strike of 183.13 was also mind blowing. All these numbers eventually earned him the Player of the series honours too.
