Michael Hussey in 2013
Mr Cricket Michael Hussey earned a massive fan following during the time he played for Chennai Super Kings. Despite being unfamiliar with the conditions, Hussey was quick to adapt and score runs plenty of runs, playing a huge role in CSK’s 2011 title win. However, his best ever season in the IPL came an edition later in 2013 where he equalled Chris Gayle record for the most number of runs in a season, plundering 733 runs in 17 matches at an average of over 50 runs. His performance played the role in helping CSK reach their 5th final appearance in the IPL.
