Sunrisers Hyderabad - The winner of IPL 2016

The tenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) got off to a dream start as it witnessed the Sunrisers Hyderabad comfortably beating the depleted Royal Challengers Bangalore outfit here in Hyderabad. The defending champions were lethal in all aspects as their batting effort was powered mainly by the brute force and charisma of the veteran Yuvraj Singh. Yuvraj’s rapid half-century followed by some lusty blows from Ben Cutting got them past the 200 run mark.

 

Till the 11th over of the run chase, the Royal Challengers were well in it, with Kedar Jadhav effortlessly toying with the Sunrisers bowlers. However, a moment of magic in the field saw Jadhav heading back, thanks to a throw from Ben Cutting.
