If there is one team in this IPL 2017 who will be really happy with their team effort is Mumbai Indians, Since they lost their first game against Pune they have decimated every opposition coming their way. In the last game, they have registered their fifth straight win this season. In their six games they have played, they have won last five games and losing just the one against Pune which was an opening game for both the teams.
Mumbai Indians in their last game against Kings XI Punjab chased down 199 runs in 15 overs, which was an extraordinary effort from the team. What was more important, from batting position number one to number four everybody was batting with the same intent. Parthiv Patel and Jos Buttler started explosively with touching 50 runs partnership in just four overs.
Mumbai Indians after the first game looked a complete team. All five games they won was in the chase they are yet to try themselves in defending targets. Though in the first game when they lost they were defending their total. Now they will be up against Pune to take revenge.

On second of the IPL, they both faced each other in their opening games in Pune, Batting first Mumbai put up a huge total of 184 on the board in Pune track which is known for low scoring encounters. But later in the second inning newly appointed Pune skipper Steven Smith with his blistering knock of 84 runs and Ajinkya Rahane’s 60 runs inning helped Pune chased down the target of 185. Since then Mumbai is yet to lose a game.
