Sunrisers Hyderabad player Moises Henriques has urged BCCI to let Indian players feature in Big Bash League as well. Currently, Indian players are not allowed to take part in any of the foreign league because of interests clashes between two different leagues. Moises feels it would nice for the league as well as for the players if they come and play in Down Under. It will be fantastic if Players like Virat Kohli and Bhuvneshwar Kumar feature in the Big Bash league.
“It would be nice if in the Big bash we will start getting few Indian players over in a couple of teams. Hopefully, the BCCI will start releasing a couple of Indian players. I am sure we would like to see Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Virat Kolhi for Sydney Sixers. That would be fantastic”
BCCI do not allow players to go and play in foreign leagues, In 2012 when Sri Lanka announced their new league few of Indian players including Dinesh Karthik and others wanted to play in that League but BCCI did not allow them to play in that league.
During the time of Big Bash League, India mostly will be busy with its international fixture, either in the home or touring to some other country. Like in this year India is expected to tour South Africa for a full-fledged series and that will be the time for BBL as well. It makes difficult for the players to take part in Big Bash. And that too will be possible only if BCCI allows them to play in the foreign league, which I consider will be good step to gain experience for our younger players.
