MS Dhoni has always been known as a witty person who always up with answers and off fields and also on press conferences!
Recently Dhoni’s, reply on the field, to Pietersen’s question on the mic during ongoing IPL 10 was trending and now he did something more than that!
Rahane, Dhoni and Stokes participated in a game called, “How well do you know your Supergiants?”.
In the game, every player was given cue cards which had achievements of player written on it. The player reading that card would pick up the banner of the player who he guesses achieved it. Whoever guesses the most, will win the game.
There were a total of 9 questions, to everyone’s surprise, Stokes was the one who nailed the game, winning it with 7 correct answers out of 9. Rahane and Dhoni finished 2nd and 3rd as they got 5, 6 answers correct respectively.
There were a whole lot of interesting questions like who gained the title of ‘hurt locker’ after punching the dressing room locker. Dhoni did not perform upto the mark as he did not even know who is the current No.1 ODI & T20 bowler, he raised Ashwin’s face cutout instead of Imran Tahir.
The show was interesting as we got to know that Rahane holds a black belt in Karate. Ashoke Dinda’s question was the funniest one as he once entered a Zimbabwean restaurant’s kitchen to cook egg curry for his teammates.
Dhoni answered in his own witty way when he was asked who is Roger Federer’s biggest fan, the answer was Steven Smith but he picked up everyone’s placard saying, “All of them are Roger Federer fans, I am a Nadal fan.”
Well, the best one was saved for the last as they asked, “Who holds the record for fastest 250 at Lord’s?”. Dhoni was dumbfounded at this question. The crew tried to give him a hint that he is one of the players sitting in that very room.
Dhoni picked up Faf du Plessis and Steven Smith’s placard. Then, he asked Rahane, tera hai kya? Dhoni’s expression was priceless when he realised Stokes holds the record for the fastest Test 250. He almost shouted, “You scored a 250?” leaving everyone in the room in fits.
What a mess indeed !
