Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Mumbai Indians launched its new jersey on Sunday (March 2). There is not much change to the jersey if compared to the past edition’s clothing but the golden lining at the border of the t-shirt have been modified a bit, which makes it more attractive.
This is the eighth time in ten editions of the league when Mumbai Indians have introduced a new attire as, in past, one of the richest franchise have had changed the colour of clothing in almost each and every season.
Mumbai Indians, the other ‘Men in Blue’ will open their IPL campaign against Rising Pune Supergiant on April 6 at Pune. A good news for the franchise is that they will get the services of skipper Rohit Sharma and all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who have recovered from respective injuries and have joined the squad. On other hand, they will miss out on services of their key bowler Lasith Malinga, who will be the national duty against Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that the franchise will organise a special function to honour Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh and Lasith Malinga for their contribution towards the franchise.
Our colours, our pride!
