Sanju Samson:
Sanju Samson had been performing well on the domestic front but had failed to make a big mark until his maiden Twenty20 and IPL 10’s first century for Delhi Daredevils. The 22-year-old smashed a 102 off 63 balls to help the Delhi Daredevils record their biggest victory in the IPL on Tuesday when they defeated Rising Pune Supergiant by 97 runs. Samson hit eight fours and five sixes off Ben Stokes, Imran Tahir and Adam Zampa’s deliveries. The two have made impressive starts, with Samson notching up his maiden IPL century against Pune while Pant got a half-century in the first match despite losing his father just two days before. Much of Delhi Daredevils’ hopes will rest on how the two fare during the matches ahead. Daredevils have started the season with two away matches, losing one and winning the other.
