IPL 2017: Ravindra Jadeja, Umesh Yadav In-Doubt For Half The Tournament

The list of players to miss this year Indian Premier League is increasing day by day as in the latest news, it is learnt that Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and pacer Umesh Yadav set to miss the first half of the T20 league following the recently concluded long home season.
The players are taking extra precaution this season as soon after the conclusion of IPL, starts the Champions Trophy where the Indian team will go as the defending champions. Thus, the players are putting every effort to fulfil the desire as Indian team have been playing continues cricket from past nine months and players need some break before going into the ICC tournament.
It is also learnt that Rising Pune Supergiant spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and Kings XI Punjab batsman Murai Vijay are also ruled out of the league following heavy workload.
Earlier, KL Rahul has already been ruled out of the league due to a shoulder injury. The Indian opener will be visiting London for the operation. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli, the RCB skipper is also expected to miss the first three weeks of IPL owing to the shoulder injury which he suffered during the third Test match against Australia at Ranchi.
Further, many of the foreign players will also leave the tournament early to join their national squads ahead of the Champions Trophy. So it can be said that this year’s IPL will lack the charm as compared to the last seasons.
