Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warrner won the toss and opted to bat first against Delhi Daredevils in the 21st match of Vivo Indian Premier League 2017 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.
For the defending champions, Kane Williamson will play his first game this season and has replaced Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi. Mohammed Siraj will make his debut after replacing Barinder Sran.
On the other hand, Delhi have made just one change to the team that lost a thriller against Kolkata Knight Riders. Jayant Yadav has got the nod to play his first match this season.
Here is what the captains said:
David Warner:
We’re gonna bat first. It’s a re-used pitch. We’ll try and post as much as posible. We got 2 changes. Nabi misses out for Kane Williamson. Siraj comes in for Sran.
Zaheer Khan:
One change. Jayant is back in the squad. Wicket looks decent. Hope it remains the same in both the innings. Looking really good. All games we lost, were close ones. The morale is high. Team is looking good. Just a matter of time, string of success should happen. Good energy around. Hopefully, we win on the winning side.
