- Tumble Under Pressure; Not once but more than that. We’ve seen KKR failing to perform under pressure, and more worryingly in crucial matches. So, it won’t be surprising if something like this happens in the upcoming season too.
- Absence of Andre Russell; A big blow for them, the all-rounder won’t be able to participate as he is banned for one year by the ICC for violating doping whereabouts. Knowing his caliber, Gambhir would feel the burden of his absence in the squad.
- Too much reliability on the top-order; a bit vulnerable lower-order.
- Lack of trust in Indian pace bowlers.
