At number 4 in this list is India and Sunrisers Hyderabad opener Shikhar Dhawan. In 113 IPL matches so far, the southpaw has struck 348 fours in addition to 62 sixes.

The 31-year old began his IPL career with Delhi Daredevils before playing for Mumbai Indians for the next two seasons. He was then signed by the now-terminated Deccan Chargers where he stayed for a couple of seasons. In 2013, he moved to Sunrisers Hyderabad and lifted the IPL trophy last season. Overall, he has scored 3082 runs with the help of 25 half-centuries.
