When it comes to IPL, Suresh Raina and scoring runs is a beautiful love story. Till last year, Suresh Raina was the highest run-getter across all seasons of IPL.
After Chennai Super Kings got suspended for a couple of years, Raina joined Gujarat Lions and the franchise awarded him with the baton. He scored 400 plus in the first seven seasons of the Indian Premier League.
The southpaw had proved himself as a genuine match-winner. Nobody could forget his 87 in 25 deliveries against Kings XI Punjab in IPL Eliminator in 2015.
