IPL 2017: Twitter Goes Wild As Hashim Amla Scores His Second IPL Century 1

Continuing his red-hot form in this season of the Indian Premier League, Kings XI Punjab opener Hashim Amla struck his second Twenty20 century and also his second of this season to steer his team to a massive 189 for three against Gujarat Lions.

The Protea star took just 59 balls to reach the milestone. His 60-ball 104 knock was studded with eight fours and five sixes.

The Kings XI had not gone off to a good start, as Martin Guptill departed after scoring just two. However, the Glenn Maxwell led side was put into a strong position, courtesy off a 125-run stand between Amla and Shaun Marsh before the latter was dismissed for 58.

Maxwell also played a handy knock of 20 runs from only 11 balls as his side put up a huge total.
