Another day, another opening ceremony before an Indian Premier League match.With the BCCI stating that their would be as many as eight opening ceremonies this year, the third match of the ongoing edition between Gujarat Lions and Kolkata Knight Riders began with an opening ceremony.
The ceremony got underway with the performance of singer Bhoomi Trivedi who churned out some Bollywood tracks and was accompanied by some traditional dancers before the centre-stage was was taken by Bollywood musical duo of Sachin-Jigar. After that, captain of both the teams, Suresh Raina and Gautam Gambhir took the customary lap of the ground.
But the best was yet to come as Bollywood star Tiger Shroff entered the ground with a bat in his hand riding on a chariot amid huge cheer by the spectators. The actor certainly stole the show with some brilliant dance performances but some demanding fans who have witnessed some absolute mesmerizing opening ceremonies over the past nine ceremonies are still not impressed.
