Delhi Daredevils thrashed Kings XI Punjab by 51 runs in a one-sided affair at Kotla to register their second win on the trot.
Chasing an imposing 188, the visitors kept on losing wickets at regular intervals and never looked in contention to chase down the big total. Manan Vohra (3) and Wriddhiman Saha (&) departed with only 21 on the board, as KXIP found it tough to deal with the early setbacks.
10 runs later, they suffered another body blow when their in-form batsman Hashim Amla was dismissed by Chris Morris. A 33-run stand between David Miller and Eoin Morgan stopped the rot for a while but a dismissal of the latter and Glenn Maxwell in a space of run all but quashed their hopes of staging a fightback.
David Miller also joined his teammates in the pavilion soon as the visitors were reduced to 88 for six in the 14th over. Axar Patel waged a lone battle from one end and was dismissed on the very last ball of the innings for 44, as KXIP were restricted for 137 for 9.
Earlier, a quickfire knock from Corey Anderson lifted Delhi Daredevils to a big total after they were looking destined to post a below par total after getting a good start.
Their openers Sam Billings and Sanju Samson gave them a solid start, adding 53 runs for the opening wicket. But the capital-based outfit was looking well set to squander the good start by losing wickets at regular intervals.
They were reeling at 131 for five at the end of the 16th over, before Corey Anderson and Chris Morris decided to unleash the big shots. Morris was dismissed after scoring 16 from only eight balls while Anderson remained unbeaten on 40 from only 22, as Delhi collected 57 runs from the last four overs.

Better to get bowled out for 150 in 17-18 overs than score at 6 runs an over and lose. This is poor stuff from KXIP.

Chris Morris dismissed Chris Gayle on a full toss in the first game and now did the same to Hashim Amla.
