IPL 2017: Watch: Mayank Agarwal Ends Rishabh Pant’s Promising Innings With Brilliant Run Out

After playing a heroic knock of 57 against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Saturday (April 9) , Delhi Daredevils batsman Rishabh Pant was on his way to play another good knock in the ongoing match against Rising Pune Supergiant before his promising innings was cut short by a brilliant throw from Mayank Agarwal.
The hard-hitting left-handed batsman had already raced to 31 runs off only 22 balls including a four and a couple of sixes. The stage was set for him to unleash his big shots but the youngster will be kicking himself for squandering it. The dismissal happened on the second ball of the sixteenth over when Ben Stokes bowled a wide yorker. Pant managed to squeeze it out and hit it straight to Mayank Agarwal at backward point. But with just a few overs left in the innings, the southpaw took off for a non-existent single and had to pay a hefty price for it. The ball went straight to Mayank and the Rising Pune Supergiant player wasted little time in uprooting the stumps at the non-striker’s end with a magnificent throw. Pant was well short of his crease and did not even wait for the umpire’s verdict while making his way out of the ground.
Here is a clip of that dismissal:
