Close-in fielding in cricket is all about anticipation and Mumbai Indians wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel has proved it right with a sensational catch during the ongoing match against Sunrisers Hyderbad.
After scoring 75 runs in the first 10 overs, Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner tried to up the run-rate and decided to target veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh. On the first ball of the eleventh over, the southpaw launched Harbhajan for a six with a stunning switch hit. On the very next ball, the opening batsman tried to replicate his previous effort once again but failed to make a good connection as the ball ballooned in the air after hitting the back side of his bat. The ball was looking well set to land in the no man’s land but Patel had some other ideas.
As soon as, Warner top-edged the delivery, Patel anticipated it and moved towards his left before making a full-stretch dive to take a stunning catch.
