IPL 2017: Watch: Wriddhiman Saha Takes A Stunner To End Mandeep Singh’s Stay

There are some catches that should be awarded as a wicket to the fielder and Wriddhiman Saha’s stunning catch to send back Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman Mandeep Singh is certainly one of them.
Mandeep was looking well-settled, after scoring 28 runs off 34 runs and just when he was threatening to cut loose, his knock was cut short by a moment of brilliance from Wriddhiman Saha.
It happened on the very first ball of the 14th over when Varun Aaron bowled a short ball to Mandeep. The right-handed batsman tried to play the pull shot but only managed to edge it. The ball went as high as one can imagine and was looking destined to fall in the no man’s land behind the wicketkeeper but Saha had other plans in his mind. The 32-year old ran all the way behind the ball and even overran it before diving sideways to pouch the ball with both the hands.
Here is a clip of that stunner:

Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore were in a precarious position when Mandeep was dismissed. They were reeling at 68 for 4 in the fourteenth over with comeback man AB de Villiers playing on 30 while Stuart Binny was yet to get off the mark.
