ToggleThe Indian Premier League (IPL) this edition has already reached its business end, and we are in for a make or break last few weeks of the 11th season of the extravaganza.
Like all the years, this year too, we have seen some exceptional performances from lesser-known players. They have a made a real case for themselves and the selectors will be eager to see them performing on a consistent basis at the domestic circuit.
There have been many youngsters in this season who have performed above expectations.
The franchises bought the several players for a reasonable cost. However, after their performances this year, there will be several names who are expected to bag a bagful of money in the next auctions.
From those many players, here is a list of five such cricketers who can be bought at the much higher price in the next IPL auctions.
Mayank Markande- Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians bought the young leg-spinner for his base price of Rs 20 lakhs. Rahul Chahar, the other leggie was bought for Rs 1.8 crores.
Hence in all likelihood, it was expected that Chahar would be the preferred leggie in the team. However, Markande was given an opportunity in the very first game of the season, and the youngster showed his magic. His scalps included the former Indian skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni who got foxed with a sensational wrong-un.
He also bagged four wickets in the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Markande has been an integral member of the Mumbai side this season.
If the franchise does not retain him, then he will grab a huge price in the next audition. He is also in the race for the purple cap and has also bagged more than a dozen wickets in IPL 2018.
