IPL 2018: Five Players Royal Challengers Bangalore Might Buy For Next Season
The eleventh edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) came to a closure as Chennai Super Kings (SRH) defeated the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the grand finale of the tournament – to lift the IPL title for the third time in its history. It was an exceptional performance from Shane Watson in the final which helped CSK to clinch a memorable victory. Meanwhile, for yet another time the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) failed to qualify for the playoffs.
Despite making a late surge in the tournament, they failed to win their last game against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) which led to their ouster.
Bangalore availed a very good squad from season one. However, they haven’t been able to produce the performance which is needed to lift the title.
Now let us have a look at five probable players who can make an impact for RCB in the next season:
The Australian all-rounder James Faulkner is not in the best of his form in the recent times. However, after his exploits with the national team and for the Rajasthan reflected he is capable of putting up a good show.
Well, it was a shocker when he got unsold in the tournament. He lends the ideal balance to any franchise so his exclusion was a surprise.
However, he would like to reduce his base price which might open the auction doors for him. Bangalore needs an all-rounder pretty badly and the swashbuckling bowling all-rounder might come to RCB’s rescue if he is picked next year.
