The left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat was bought for a whopping INR 11.4 crore in the auction back in January. It was mainly due to the pacer’s exceptional performance in the previous edition of the tournament with the now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS).

Unadkat was quite ordinary for the majority of the tournament. He failed to make a mark and bagged only 11 wickets in the 15 matches he played. He was bought by Rajasthan for his exceptional abilities to bowl the slower deliveries and cutters.

However, he proved to be ineffective which resulted in some below-par performances from Rajasthan. As per record, he took around INR 1.04 crore for each dismissal.
