It turned out to be a horrendous season for both Glenn Maxwell and his franchise Delhi Daredevils (DD). Maxwell; was bought by Delhi for INR nine crore in the auctions.
Given his ability to execute the big shots on a consistent basis the price wouldn’t have surprised many experts. However, his performances all through the tournament did disappoint all and sundry.

It was a pathetic display of batting by Maxwell. He was elevated to the opening position to regain his form. However, it didn’t pan out as he and the team management would have liked.
