Earlier, Bangalore retained the left-arm spinner Pawan Negi for INR 1 crore despite being bought by the Mumbai.
In the very limited opportunities Negi got in the tournament, he conceded runs following some exceptional strokeplay by the opposition batsman. However, he got only a handful of matches to play for RCB.
