Morne Morkel – The South African pacer, who recently announced his retirement from international cricket, has more experience than Mitchel Starc and if the franchise ropes him, it will be his comeback for KKR.
He has earlier played for this team and knows Kolkata’s conditions quite well.
Should KKR look for a proven layer with high stature, Morkel is the man to go for them.
He has not yet announced his plans, and it is yet to be known whether he has taken the Kolpak route or not?
