Defending Champions Mumbai Indians have kept their hopes of qualifying for the playoffs alive, as they defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 13 runs at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai on Sunday.
With two wins in two matches, Mumbai Indians have intact their hopes of not getting out too soon from the tournament.

At second place, is his Mumbai Indians team-mate, Mayank Markande with 13 wickets from ten matches.

Pandya was adjudged the Man of the Match following his unbeaten 35 off 26 balls. He also ended with figures of 2/19 in four overs to extend his wicket tally to 14.
Pandya’s 14 wickets have come at an average of 16.78, and he has an economy rate of 8.49 after nine matches.
Pandya who is one of the most expressive players on the field has never backed out of any challenge and has expressed his feelings following any win or loss.
Similarly, Pandya on Sunday took to Twitter after Mumbai’s win over Kolkata to post a picture of him and his elder, brother Krunal Pandya who also has been impressive for the team.

Mumbai Indians are currently placed at the fifth spot with eight points in ten matches behind Kolkata Knight Riders who have ten points in 10 games. The two teams will clash against each other again on 9th May 2018.

On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad are leading the table with 14 points in nine games played so far.
