Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as a unit has a majority of the players who are on the wrong side of their 30s. But they haven’t really made that an excuse as the experienced players are coming good.
The yellow brigade has been far impressive in the field and the change of home ground didn’t hamper much. It was a Friday night to remember for Shane Watson.

Explosive batsman Watson, who retired from international cricket in 2016, hasn’t lost his touch.
The all-rounder slammed a 57-ball 106 to help his side win against Rajasthan Royals. Watson hit nine fours and six sixes – to take CSK to 204 for five, before restricting their opponents to 140.
Spinner Imran Tahir, who scalped the big wicket of Ben Stokes, lauded Watson’s knock on Twitter.
His tweet read: What an inns from watto.Legends always remain legends. So thankful 4 d fans coming all the way from Chennai supporting us.Really humbled by ur love n support.nenaicha allikittu varathukku mannu nu nenaichiya malai da annamalai vandiya poduda whistle”.

Tahir is a hit on Twitter:
Experienced bowler, Tahir though went a bit expensive, conceding 44 runs in his four overs. The South African spinner had earlier apologized to the fans on Twitter after losing the game against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP).
The Lahore-born spinner Tahir had bagged a couple of wickets in that game.
“Sorry will put my hand up could have done better but gave it all I had.The team fought till the very end. How well did our captain cool play today. We will be back with a bang” he tweeted.

Super Kings are spoilt for choices:
The Super Kings are at the top of the IPL 2018 points table currently.
With the likes of Dwayne Bravo and Ravindra Jadeja in the side, the men in yellow must feel no dearth of quality all-rounders.
Harbhajan Singh was replaced by Karan Sharma and the latter did pretty well to scalp two wickets in two consecutive deliveries – to end the game with a handsome 64-run win.
