Mumbai Indians may have started their preparations for the coming season, but a few of the players are yet land in the camp.

As per a report in PTI, many of the foreign players will only land in the camp in the first week of April, a few days before the start of IPL.

Players like Kieron Pollard, Mustafizur Rahman, will also land in the camp in April, the report adds.

Mitchell McClenaghan was roped in place of Jason Behrendorff

Mitchell McClenaghan will also join the camp next month only. He was roped in by the franchise in place of an injured Jason Behrendorff.

Pat Cummins, Australia’s pacer, will automatically have a late arrival due to international commitments. The fourth Test between Australia and South Africa ends on April 3, post which Cummins will land in the camp.

Players like Krunal Pandya, Rahul Chahar, Pradeep Sangwan, Siddhesh Lad and a few others have checked in and have joined the camp

Mumbai Indians’ Head Coach, Mahela Jayawardene, has also joined the team. Shane Bond, bowling coach, and James Pamment, fielding coach, have also joined the camp. So as Robin Singh, who is also a part of Mumbai Indians’ coaching staff.

Star players like Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and others are only expected to land in the camp when it goes in full flow in the coming days at the Wankhede Stadium.

Mumbai Indians face Chennai Super Kings in their opening game of the season on April 7 at their home ground. The same day, an opening ceremony will also take place before the start of the league.

Only the members of these two teams will mark their attendance in the opening ceremony.
