After the absence of Mitchell Starc in the tournament, the 11th edition of IPL suffered a major blow, as Kagiso Rabada is all set to miss out on the tournament due to a back stress reaction.

It comes in as a major jolt to Delhi Daredevils’ campaign, as Rabada was retained by Hemant Dua and co. in this years’ auction.

Additionally, Kagiso Rabada has been in red-hot form in South Africa’s home season featuring India, Australia, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh.

In the recently concluded ill-tempered series between Australia and South Africa, KG Rabada was the stand out bowler with 20 wickets in the first three matches.

As a result, he was nominated as the man of the series ahead of the likes of Aiden Markram who scored a couple of daddy centuries.

Rabada has been unstoppable this season.

Rabada, now, is scheduled to be out of action for the next three months due to his injury, which means Trent Boult should be featuring in all the matches for the Daredevils.

The South African ace seamer personally had a tremendous series against Australia. After the conclusion of the Port Elizabeth Test, KG Rabada accumulated four demerit points due to his sendoffs to Smith and Warner.

It meant South Africa’s best bowler was scheduled to miss out on the rest of the series.

However, in an interesting turn of events, his two-match ban imposed was uplifted by Jeff Crowe, after a six-hour-long hearing. Rabada currently is ranked number one bowler in Test cricket.
