Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and decided to field first in the eighth match of the Indian Premier League against at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. Virat Kohli side features for the first time at Bengaluru and opted to come up with the same eleven.

The R Ashwin-led side thumped Delhi Daredevils buy six wickets in their season-opener, proving their title-credentials early on. The likes of KL Rahul and Karun Nair looked in good touch as both registered fifties with the former scoring his off only 14 balls.

The KXIP Punjab side has a large contingent of Karnataka batsman in the side.

With Kings XI in fine form and Royal Challengers in search of a win, the upcoming game promises to be an exciting one.
