The eleventh edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is just a few days away and the teams have started their preparations in full swing.
After serving a two-year suspension from the IPL starting July 2015 for the alleged involvement of their owners in the 2013 IPL betting case, CSK is all set to return in the tournament.
The Super Kings have lifted the IPL title twice and have the best win percentage among all teams in the IPL. Meanwhile, just like other teams, they have also started their training sessions in full swing.
In between the training sessions, the players sometimes play football as a part of the training while sometimes they play for fun. On Wednesday’s practice session, the captain of CSK, MS Dhoni was seen with some amazing football skills.
Though CSK’s top bowler Ravi Ashwin is not with them anymore, they still have Ravindra Jadeja, Faf du Plessis, and Suresh Raina. After a suspension of two years, CSK will be looking to mark their name once again in the tournament.
IPL will kick off on 7 April and Chennai Super Kings will be taking on the defending champions Mumbai Indians in the season opener.
