KL Rahul has been one of the most impressive batsmen in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League.

The Karnataka batsman impressed with the bat, as he scored his IPL best unbeaten 95 against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Tuesday. His 70-ball knock went in vain, as the Kings were unable to chase a modest total of 159 in Jaipur.

Kings XI Punjab, who are third on the points table now, lost the game by 15 runs.

Rahul played a match-winning knock in the previous match against the same opposition. However, the opening batsman could not repeat his heroics and couldn’t guide his team to victory eventually.

Following the knock which included 11 fours and two sixes, the opener also became the orange cap holder, overtaking Ambati Rayudu with 471 runs in ten matches with an average of 58.88 and a strike rate of 156.48.

It seems like Rahul is enjoying the time of his life, as he also got picked in the Indian ODI squad for the upcoming tour of England. Rahul also received appreciation from India’s arch-rivals and neighbours, Pakistan.
