Rajasthan Royals have roped in New Zealand star, Ish Sodhi as an injury replacement for the remainder of the season. The kiwi leg-spinner will replace Afghanistan’s, Zahir Khan. Royals had signed the Afghanistan spinner for Rs 60 lakhs in this year’s auction.

The teenager had shot to limelight after playing in this year’s ICC Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand. The chinaman bowler had played an integral role in Afghanistan’s brilliant journey in the tournament where they made it to the semifinals.
